Valley de Blue Isle Studios obtient une nouvelle vidéo montrant six minutes de gameplay

Developer Blue Isle Studios recently unveiled a new six-minute long video that shows off gameplay for its first-person adventure game Vallée. The game follows a character who wields an exosuit, which grants him supernatural powers, and uses his extra height and grappling hook to soar across a long valley. The first-person adventure game is slated for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and will launch this Summer.

The game puts players in charge of an exosuit named L.E.A.F. that allows players to catch some serious height and speed if they link their movement and momentum correctly. The game is more like a fast-moving simulator with some weird gameplay aspects mixed into its core mechanics.

In addition to the weird stuff, players will have to face ghost enemies that leave behind smoke that can hurt you if touched. We also see that the protagonist can create trees and absorb energy that’s scattered around the land, as well as bringing life forms back to life. With that said, you can read the official description for the game to get a better picture.

“Valley, in development from Blue Isle Studios, makers of the popular horror game Slender: The Arrival, promises a first-person adventure like none other. Players will pilot the L.E.A.F. exosuit, powering up their physical abilities to unheard of levels then exploring the massive world from above and below — dashing over landscapes, leaping between structures, all while wielding control over both life and death.”

Furthermore, the six-minute trailer also shows a tower that resembles Demi-vie Spire, and even has the beam shooting up twisting the clouds in the same manner. I don’t know what the tower’s purpose is, but I’m sure that it will be revealed later in another video trailer, or in a blog update by the devs, seeing that it holds a focus in the video.

To be honest, the game looks a little boring and generic with the slow atmosphere surrounding going really fast and high, but I do like how high and fast a player can go, though.

If you enjoy games along the lines of A Story About My Uncle and first-person adventure games set in a uncanny setting, you will most likely enjoy Vallée. You can check out the official gameplay trailer that PlayStation posté.

If you can’t wait and want to jump in and go quite fast, Vallée is set to come out for PC, PS4 and Xbox One sometime this Summer.
